Allied Titanium clevis pins are currently in use in applications running from top fuel dragsters to offshore sailing yachts. These clevis pins are fabricated from grade 5 (Ti-6Al-V4) titanium and are corrsion free, even in saltwater. Grade 5 titanium has a yield strength of 128,000 psi (880 Mpa) and an ultimate tensile strength of 138,000 psi (990 Mpa). In other words they are very strong and beautifully machined before being media polished.
