  These binding posts are TRUE TITANIUM™, specifically Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V). Grade 5 titanium is a common aerospace alloy that has been used in commercial aircraft for decades and it has only been recently that Grade 5 titanium has become affordable for everyday use.

Binding post screws and binding post barrels go together to form a fastening system that is unique in that both sides can be low profile. At Allied Titanium, we can custom manufacture binding posts that fit your needs, whether to be beautiful or serve an unusual structural purpose.

Grade 5 titanium has a minimum yield strength of 128,000 psi (880 Mpa) and is corrosion free, even in saltwater.
