Titanium 1/4-20 X 7/16 inch UNC Allied Titanium Set Screw, Socket Drive with Cup Point
These set screws are TRUE TITANIUM(TM), specifically Grade 2 (CP) Titanium. Grade 2 titanium is commercially pure and used when ultimate corrosion resistance is desired. It is now affordable for the average user and a key component when working with composites or carbon fiber. Both carbon fiber and titanium are at the top of the galvanic scale which is why engineers specify titanium fasteners for use with carbon fiber and composites.

Grade 2 titanium has a minimum yield strength of 39,900 psi (275 Mpa), these set screws are designed for applications in shafts, pulleys, engines, or anywhere else that a corrosion resistant set screw is needed. If you are looking for lightweight and zero rust, these set screws will work perfectly.

TRUE TITANIUM(TM) is a trademark to establish that this product is manufactured from solid Titanium, rather than a coating, plating or color. TRUE TITANIUM, Tough-Ti, the AT Logo, the Ring around our high strength screws, LOOK FOR THE RING, AFFORDABLE TITANIUM NOW and ALLIED TITANIUM are all trademarks of Allied Titanium, Inc.
