These low head star drive machine screws are TRUE TITANIUM(TM), specifically Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V).
Grade 5 titanium is a common aerospace alloy that has been used in commercial aircraft
for decades. It is now affordable for the average user and a key component when working
with composites or carbon fiber. Engineers specify titanium for use with carbon fiber
because both are at the top of the galvanic scale.
The Ring around the head is a trademark so you can quickly identify that the screw is
manufactured from a high strength titanium alloy. With a minimum yield strength of 128,000
psi (880 Mpa), they are designed for structural applications in race cars, sailboats,
